Viet House Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

We have just moved into the area and were delighted to find Viet House. The Pho with rare beef and meatballs was Pho-tastic! The regular serving size was more than enough for two to share. I can't imagine how big the large size is. Our server was very pleasant and didn't bat an eye when we asked for two bowls so that we could share the pho. We have had challenges in the past with this type of request . Of course, we had the combo appetizer--I'm a spring roll fan, my husband is into eggrolls. Both were delicious. The restaurant isn't big, but I loved the simple lines and clean colors. They had several lettuce wrap dishes that I was very interested in. We will definitely be going back here.

The restaurant has been opened just under a year. I'm always looking for a new soup place and this one does not disappoint! I'm a huge pho lover so I'm pretty picky about the broth and what is added to it plus the quality and quantity for the price ratio. The Pho Soup: Pho broth is excellent! Lots of flavor. Lots of meat. They have two sizes -- Regular and Large. The regular size is good enough for most people. The large is for the really hungry person. It's about $12 for the large and $8 or $9 for the regular. The price ratio works out. Sure it's more expensive than the closest Pho place (House of Pho) but you also get more meat for that price difference. The Service: Great service! Very friendly and accommodating owners. It's a mom and pop shop. This shouldn't be a major factor but it helps; if you've never had Vietnamese food before; the wait staff all speak perfect English. The place is small size so there can be a wait time during prime hours. Overall this would be a place I would frequent on a regular basis. This and House of Pho are the two best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. House of Pho has certain dishes this place doesn't have and vice versa. Both are great!

Went there last Sunday, August 30th, for lunch. Vietnamese co-worker of mine recommended the place. House of Pho is our usual go to place when it comes to Pho. I ordered the House Special Pho, I believe. Large. $12 something, I believe. This size is good for two. Next time I'll order the not large. Don't want to be wasteful + it's less expensive than the large. I liked their Pho. Seems less salty. Less MSG too? My wife ordered the Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi. She liked it. I liked it. However, we still like sandwiches from Nhu Lan in Chicago. I ordered for my Mom. A noodle dish that sounded good when we read it from their menu. Noodles with pork, pork skin (crispy, I thought), lettuce, peanuts, etc.. When it arrived, it's in a bowl. Dry. No broth. Just a side of, I don't know, fish sauce with a little shredded carrots and something else. I'm not a fan of fish sauce so I didn't even try it. My Mom was expecting something else so that was a fail. Not but the restaurant but by us not understanding in detail what we're ordering. I also ordered chicken wings. Mild. Size of wings were medium. Flavor's good. I like House of Pho's wings better. I'll try Viet House's spicy wings next time. Another thing we tried was their Spring Rolls. It's good. We've had better. We'll come back and try other items. For our first visit, not fail.

With all the rave reviews of this place, and it's close proximity to my apartment, it was really a no-brainer that I stop by to pay a visit. The GF is not a fan of most types of Asian cuisine (which sucks, as I love Thai), so coaxing her into coming with me took a bit of effort. I am not one of those people that would go Han solo to a restaurant. I find it, well, weird. I am admittedly not overly familiar with Vietnamese food, but I lucked out and got a really great sever that gave us a rendition of the bill of fare with lots of different recommendations based on our particular tastes. We started out with some wings and spring rolls, based upon those recommendations, and both were absolutely fantastic. I was highly impressed. The freshness of ingredients and flavor combinations were dynamite. I prefer subtle flavor combinations to overpowering 'themes' (like Indian places with their curry, for example) so the appetizers worked out well. I also had the Pho with beef and with the exception of the beef being a little on the rubbery side, this was also highly enjoyable. Having the option to add to it with a side of fresh ingredients was a nice option to add to the mix as well. YUM! I do not get the urge to eat food like this often, but it will 100% fulfill that void in my life when the urge arises. Lastly, prices here were very affordable compared to similar places in the area I have been to, and the dining room was clean and efficient.

Viet House is the third Vietnamese restaurant in the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates area. It's exciting to see a new trend of Asian cuisine beyond Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean food. We ordered the pho, bun thit nuong, iced coffee, and an order of the fresh spring rolls. The bun thit nuong came with shredded pork skin which was a first for me. It was cut like noodles so I wouldn't have thought that it was pig skin. The pho portion seemed a bit small. I prefer a large bowl of pho where it's filled to the brim so you can really enjoy the broth. The meal came with a complimentary pot of tea made from pandan tea leaves which is great for anyone who loves the dessert buko pandan. Service was great and attentive - it felt like you were dining at someone's home. Even though our family still prefers Pho Ha in Glendale Heights, there is still potential for Viet House. I hope the owners will be willing to introduce more variety to Vietnamese cuisine since it seems that they are still working on finalizing their menu.

The best Pho I've been able to find in quite some time. We absolutely love this place. Great food, and even better service. We come here twice a week for Pho. Their spicy chicken wings are amazing and Lemongrass chicken lettuce wraps are to die for. The quality of their ingredients is easily apparent. The Thai Basil they bring out for every bowl of pho is a thing of beauty. Don't hesitate for a second to stop by and enjoy a great meal. A+++++ in our book! Thanks Viet House!

YUM!! Best Pho Ga in the burbs! The broth is so yummy that there is a small part of you that doesn't want to over saturate it with sriracha, but eventually wanting that burning sensation always wins (for me anyway). Service was great, everyone was really nice. My dad ordered the broken rice and pork chop which was pretty tasty and cooked great. I will definitely be back!

Thank you Viet House for bringing the delicious viet food I go all the way to Argyle for a little closer to home! I tried their daily special of lettuce wraps (with your choice of grilled pork sausage, chicken, or lemongrass beef) and I couldn't resist trying their Banh Mi sandwich with lemongrass beef. I wanted the beef lettuce wraps, but our excellent server suggested I try the grilled pork sausage instead for a little variety. What a winner! I'm Filipino and that grilled pork sausage was exactly what I need in my life! It tasted like longganissa! I never would have thought to eat longganissa in a lettuce wrap but now I can't wait go make this at home! With that magical viet dipping sauce, fresh veggies and a squirt of sriracha this dish was ALMOST the perfect marriage of flavors. I say almost because I wish I had Thai basil with it. Came with mint and cilantro but the basil was a no show. But still delicious. Can we also talk about their Banh Mi? My favorite Banh mo sandwich used to be the BBQ pork sandwich from Ba Le in Chicago. Then, I had this lemongrass beef Banh Mi bundle of deliciousness at Viet House and it was like my taste buds had an epiphany. I think it's that grilled flavor that made the sandwich so good. I also want to commend Viet House for their excellent service. I frequent casual Asian restaurants/diners that have amazing food but they often sacrifice good service. This place, though, had a great combination of good food and even better service. Our server so kindly explained their specials and made great suggestions to our order (and by great, I don't mean she suggested extra things that would add bulk to our check). I could overhear her doing the same for the table behind me. Even the owner explained how to mix stuff together and best enjoy the dish, even cautioning on the spiciness of add-ins. I love that they didn't assume that we knew what everything on the menu was. We came on a Wednesday night and not long after we got our food the entire place filled up! I hope they continue to attract hungry crowds, definitely a great addition to the Schaumburg food scene.

After trying a local pho spot in Palatine I've been on the lookout for something to compare it to. Some high reviews have brought us to Viet House in Schaumburg. We had many items and all were very good. The Seafood Pho has great broth (had it with the chicken broth) & ingredients. The spicy chicken wings are excellent as well as the spring rolls. The Banh Mi are very good, only 3 options but quality. Today I went back and had the "Dry Noodle" dish with shrimp & pork. I would compare the noodles to a Cantonese pan fried noodle, slightly thinner, more tender, and not fried. It's really good!! Our waitress suggested I pour a bit of the Pho broth it comes with into the bowl to loosen the noodles up. Perfect. Make sure you mix it all up as there is a great sauce at the bottom of the bowl, and the pho broth helps the whole flavor mixing process, you really need to mix it up! Truthfully I don't even need the shrimp and pork the rest is that good! Also tried the quail and it was great! There are many more things to try here and I plan on returning often!

Viet House is bomb! Specifically their meats.. We stopped in one night and ordered a smorgasbord of items, why stop at one when you can sample them all? Right. Their (spicy varietal) chicken wings are crunchy, juicy, garlicky, spicy perfection on a bone. I could just have these for dinner and be perfectly content. We shared an order of crispy eggrolls and fresh summer rolls, both of which were good but at this point we were spoiled because of the wings. If you're debating appetizers I would skip the rolls and go for the wings, my friend. For our entrees we ordered pho and shaken beef. We started with the shaken beef and this dish was so flavorful it made the pho pale in comparison. I liked the pho but it couldn't hold a candle to the delicious beef. The filet is cut in pieces and wok-ed with this amazing slightly spicy, slightly sweet, slightly oily, totally delicious sauce. The meat is served over lettuce and tomatoes with rice on the side. Though I'd love to explore more on the menu I have a feeling that the wings and shaken steak will be my standby, they are just that good.

The people are friendly at the Viet House. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with ordering lunch specials. They have kid meals which I found to be very nice because kid's can't always eat entire bowl of pho. We ordered their traditional Pho, I had a Bún Tht Nng with lemongrass beef! I got my crispy Vietnamese egg rolls and their fresh spring rolls as well. Both kinds and my stomach was very happy. My kids and husband were both so happy to have dined their for lunch if we are in the area and want Pho we will be back!

I love Viet House! When Thai House closed, I anxiously awaited the opening of this joint when I saw the sign go up. Viet House is great for those not familiar with Viet food because their servers will go into great detail explaining dishes for you. On Sundays in particular there is one younger, very pretty lady who is extremely enthusiastic about the cuisine and all Viet House has to offer. The Viet House Chicken Wings appetizer are pretty much amazing. You get 6 for about $6 and they are juicy with fabulous flavoring on the outside. For my main entree, I always end up getting the same thing. I want to try other things - I swear I do! Yet every time, I can't get my eyes off the Bun Special for $8.50. To me this is like the Bi Bim Bap of Viet food. Vermicelli noodles with a bunch of veggies, meats, eggrolls all separated out and then you mix it all together plus pour sauce over the top. I friggin love it here! After the first time I dined at Viet House, I was just craving it for days after...they do it good. Now my man...he is not into Viet House. He had their pho and a dessert once and just was not feeling it at all. To each their own. I'm thankful I have my coworkers who love Viet House so I can keep going back! The prices at Viet House aren't super cheap compared to some nearby locations. However, I feel like their food is great, service is great and portion sizes are generous. Because it's a bit on the pricey side for Viet food, it's not going to be my usual lunch spot but when I feel like dropping $15 for lunch I'll be back in.

Haven't even gotten my food yet and I know this place is DOPE! I will follow with more after food arrives in a few mins... Yep, nailed it. This place is fantastic!! Try the beef in lettuce leaves and the "egg roll", a delicious spring roll. Friendly service and VERY reasonable prices. I will be back!

This is our favorite place for Pho in northern Illinois. The pho is super delicious, and the service is outstanding. We also ordered veggie spring rolls, which were tasty and refreshing. We ordered them with the fish sauce because the peanut sauce is not gluten free. It is a little bit of a drive for us to get here, but it is so worth it. If you're looking for some awesome pho, be sure to check this place out!

I've dine here multiple times since their inception and must admit that their pho is on par if not better than pho ha in the suburbs. - so if you only care about how the pho taste, then this is the place. Why the low 2 star ratings. Check out my photo of their pho and look carefully. Saw a fly in my pho. Made me go what the pho! But at least it's still in the soup :) Rather than in my tummy, raging poop! *ending my feeble attempt at rap* Soo...I was like meh. It would feel weird complaining after most of the pho is gone. But then..my gf found one in her soup too. 2 soups 2 flies I already ask for a check at this point, and no...I did not ask for a refund nor expected compensation. However, we expected at least a sincere apology since we indiscreetly alerted their team. In this case, we did not even get a fake apology, but rather, only an excuse. Guy in red polo - "must be the basil, very fresh, that's why." ... He has put up his defensive wall I respond "so you don't wash your veggies?" RedPoloDude - "we rinse it, I'll go tell them" ...still no apology, and walked away. My tip to the establishment...rinse better? Side food notes: Spring roll peanut sauce was very bad today. Like very bad. Worst Viet ice coffee from a Viet restaurant. -not the place to get it

Excellent food and friendly service. The first time I went I had a bbq pork Bahn MI and Pho and it was spectacular. Then they stopped serving Bahn mi, except for carryout, and I was sad. But then they added it back to the menu and I am thrilled. There are a lot of delicious dishes to choose from. The staff loves to explain their dishes and offer suggestions on how to eat. The chicken wings are awesome. The Pho is probably the best I've ever tasted. The place is small and runs out of seating during lunch rush frequently.

Came here for the Pho and wasn't disappointed!! Good atmosphere, good prices, amazing taste! Egg rolls are fine. They only weird bit is that they have changed the menu 27 or so times.. So because of that you get few sheets of printer paper stapled together.. A bit odd.. If you are craving good Pho, definitely check this place out! P.S. - Hosts are very friendly.. Overall great customer service!

I love a new neighborhood restaurant, especially when it's firing on all cylinders right off the bat. Viet House has only been open for about a month, but it seems as though it has been successfully doing business for years. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and informative, and the prices won't break the bank. If you're used to going to House of Pho for Vietnamese in the area, know that this place blows House of Pho out of the water. To start, we ordered the Viet House rolls combo, which comes with two taro egg rolls and two fresh spring rolls, both of which exceeded our expectations. The taro egg rolls were crispy and tasty, and the fresh spring rolls were aromatic without overpowering your senses. The fresh spring rolls were also big so you're definitely getting your money's worth. And of course, we couldn't pass up the Viet House wings! Those wings were expertly fried and tasted so good without needing to be drenched in the sweet soy sauce based glazes that are par for the course at other Asian establishments. The pho here is excellent! We ordered the Pho Special, and the broth was delicate yet loaded with flavor. The meat in the dish was outstanding. We also ordered the Bi Bo Nuong (Vermicelli with Bi and flame grilled beef), which comes highly recommended as it was so fresh and flavorful. Finally, we ordered the broken rice with pork chop, which was reminiscent of Asian comfort food. The pork chop was fatty and sweet, and the rice was slightly dry to give it that crispy texture. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Viet House. The staff seem genuinely interested in ensuring that their customers enjoy every aspect of their meal. And of course, the food is outstanding. There's not much more you can ask from a restaurant.

Great find based on Yelp reviews. Our favorite local Detroit area Vietnamese restaurant had a change of owner and chef so we were hungry for some good Vietnamese food when we spotted this one. It really lives up to the high rating. We ordered our favorites of Chicken Pho and fresh Spring Rolls and they were as good as it gets, in our opinions. We seem to get to this area northwest of Chicago regularly so I'm sure (and happy) we'll be back.

I had spring rolls and the Pho seafood special (takeout). The gentleman at the counter was very quick and pleasant. I thought the spring rolls had a bit too much of something - cilantro or lemongrass, maybe - but were otherwise quite tasty. The Pho was fantastic!

First time here and tried the combo pho. Some kind of pork sausage, exquisite beef combinations, and tripe. Tripe has a nice texture and not much flavor, but there is so much flavor in their broth. Not too much on the spice side as to be offensive. Again a nice balance of flavors, and very fresh sides for the basil, peppers, sprouts, and lime. Good noodle soups at Vietnamese themed places is what we should be looking for here. Beef is the way to go and was suggested by the very helpful staff. This place represents and is a great value on the side. I will return soon. So many more things to try!

I've been craning my neck to check this place out every day as I passed by on Roselle and today is the day that they have finally opened officially. And I was the first customer! I've been faithfully praying to FSM for a Vietnamese owned Viet restaurant to come to the area and Viet House did not disappoint. There is nothing better than authenticity after patiently enduring all the Chinese diluted menus of the other pho places in the area so I'm extremely happy that Viet House has decided to join the pho competition in the Schaumburg area. Because today was their opening day, they had a limited menu (see pic) but it contained the essentials. Spring rolls then pho is my usual menu choice whenever I go to a Viet restaurant but we were told the wings were delicious so we ordered some wings to join the party. I'd have to say that I enjoyed the spring rolls the most because they were tightly rolled with just enough noodles (I hate noodle bloated loosely rolled spring rolls) so that the delicate flavors of the shrimp and aromatic mint and herbs were not diluted by excess noodles. I wish they offered a peanut butter based sauce instead of the typical sweet and dark clear sauce most places offer. A small side of very freshly shredded and pickled daikon carrot helped to cleanse the palate between bites and wasn't overly sour with vinegar like most places. The wings were small but bursting with flavor all the way through. I could tell that the wings were well marinated because I could taste the savory and slightly spicy carrot/garlic/jalepeno marinade all the way to the middle of the wings. These wings do not have any batter, which I prefer, but they were cooked to a crisp around the edges. A great way to start the meal without worrying about filling up before the main course. The first thing I noticed about the pho is that portion sizes are relatively smaller compared to House of Pho or To Pho and is about the same size as Pho Ha. Their broth was crystal clear indicating use of the time consuming consomme technique. There was just enough fat floating on top to allow for the flavors of the broth to spread and linger on my tongue. The second thing I noticed is that total meat content is relatively smaller than any of their afore mentioned competition. I like my broth to be as aromatic as possible so that I can place my face above a steamy bowl and clearly distinguish between the nutmeg, fennel, cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, charred ginger and onion as well as all the other aromatic spices in a good broth. Sadly, their broth lacked that complex and deep aroma that I love. Overall, I was impressed with the attentive and friendly service, the simple and clean interior, as well as the initial offerings. It's hard to be critical on the first day of opening knowing that they are still trying to stabilize their recipes and menu. I'll definitely be back to try it again, especially since they are within walking distance from home for me.

Food: This place has the best Pho I've tried. I go VH about 2-3 times a month and usually order the rare beef Pho. The wings are usually overdone, but not bad and the the hot wings will make the nose snot drip! I opt for the mild. Grilled pork lunch special and grilled beef special are delicious. But don't expect to get full on the beef special. Service: Very attentive. Always check to see how your doing but not feeling rushed. Restaurant: Bathrooms are clean. Silverware is clean. The restaurant itself very clean and bright.

Nice service, pleasant environment, thoughtful plating, and nice decor. For me, these were the main things I liked about this restaurant although the prices were a bit high, the portions a little small, and the food wasn't spectacular (for its price). With that said, this is a very new restaurant with an evolving menu that could easily change. The fresh spring rolls were very good -- nice soft rice paper that wrapped fresh shrimp, pork, cucumber, green onion, and cilantro. The fresh crushed peanuts in the sauce was a nice touch. Chicken wings were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside with a nice flavor to them -- a bit pricey at nearly a dollar a wing though. The pork starter salad had nice grilled pork on a bed of greens. The pork itself was cooked very nicely, juicy, flavorful, tender, with an obvious bit of char to it. Although tasty, it could've easily been better had it been mixed with vermicelli noodles. The broken rice with pork chop oddly was less flavorful than the salad preparation. The thinly shredded pork was also a bit bland although the texture was nice. Also served with cucumber, tomato, and lightly pickled carrot/radishes. The pho special was a bit of a disappointment as well, as the portion size was about medium and nothing about the ingredients within stood out at all. For me, generally I look at the rare beef and tendon as the items to stand out and distinguish it from other pho, but neither one did it for me. The broth was also a bit weak and lacked the umami that I look for in pho (even with all the basil, lime, and other ingredients added in). In summary, I enjoyed the appetizers more than the entrees and the food wasn't necessarily bad, just a bit expensive for the portion size but I'm willing to give it another try.

I have to say that I loved my 1st visit to Viet House! A group of my co-workers that I go to lunch with quite often decided that Viet House was on the lunch agenda (they had been there before) and I am always up for places I hadn't been to. My one co-worker ordered the the Viet House Chicken Wings appetizers and we were off to a great start - they tasted pretty amazing. They were nicely seasoned and definitely different tasting from your typical chicken wing. For my main entree, I decided on getting #20 Mi Dac Beit (egg noodle soup.) I have to say in one word - AWESOME! It honestly was the best soup I have had - everything in the soup tasted amazing and of course I added a bit of my good friend Sriracha to make it even a bit better. This was the first time I had a meal at Viet House, it won't be the last. I will say that the prices at Viet House aren't super cheap compared to some nearby locations (Asian Noodle House.) However, I feel that they can charge a bit more since their food and service is really good and very authentic. I could see the lunch group that I go with coming back every month or so.

I realllyyyyy wanted to like this place. I read the reviews a while back and bookmarked it, and decided to come here for an early dinner today. I was hoping this would be my new go-to Vietnamese spot! The 4.5 stars this place has is way too generous..... We were hungry & saw the great reviews so we wanted to get a little of everything! We ordered pork & shrimp spring rolls, spicy chicken wings, quail, bo luc lac aka shaking beef, and 2 special pho. Our server basically told us to stop ordering (in a very nice way) because we ordered so much. I think he didn't think we could finish it all. This made me think their portions would be huge & maybe we'd have tons of delicious leftovers?!?!? Nope. Spring rolls came out, they were ok, nothing special. The server brought me their house fish sauce. I wasn't a fan. It was bland. Quail came out. One tiny quail split in half for $5. The server told me it was just one when I asked about it, but I didn't expect it to be that small. The flavor was decent tho. Chicken wings. These were a huge disappointment. I got this because of the reviews. I don't think they were cooked long enough. They were soggy, not spicy. The flavor was ok, a bit bland. Bo luc lac. We ordered the entree portion instead of the appetizer portion. Only $2 more! For 2 oz more with rice. Uhhmmmm..... idk. It's made with filet so it was tender, but it wasn't that great. Kinda salty. The rice was dry. The special pho. Idk what everyone is talking about. It was super bland. I could barely taste anything. It was literally like a very light broth or super watered down broth. No strong herb flavors. No beef flavor. There weren't a lot of noodles and they were soggy. The soup was greasy. There was soooo much oil floating on top and coating my mouth. I've had better basically everywhere else. The server kept coming over to our table to teach me how to eat things... and I welcomed the advice, but really, I already knew how to eat it. I mean, this wasn't my first time eating Vietnamese food so..... Hmm.... We left full, but not satisfied and super disappointed. I will not be coming back. Don't be fooled by my photos. The food was mostly bland, below average, small portions, & overpriced.

This spot used to be a not-so-good Thai place according to my sisters and coworkers so Viet House is a nice replacement. It definitely has room for improvement but so far they're starting off pretty well. They've been open for 5 weeks or so and their menu is not set. The guy who seated us told us they keep rolling out new items to see which ones do well and which to keep or remove from the menu. We started off with the taro egg rolls and Viet House wings as appetizers and these came out within 5-10 minutes. The taro egg rolls were yummy but standard vietnamese egg rolls. They were freshly fried and perfectly crispy. As for the wings, these were tender but I didn't have too much flavor. I ordered the lemongrass beef and egg roll vermicelli bowl and my sister had the Pho Special. Their portions are very generous and I couldn't even finish my bowl of food. They gave 2 egg rolls, a good amount of beef, veggies, and fish sauce on the side. Everything was pretty good but I wish the fish sauce had more flavor since it was a bit lacking. As usual, I tried a bit of my sister's food and the pho was ok. The broth needed more flavor and the noodles seemed a bit overcooked. It wasn't good or bad per se but it would satisfy one's pho craving in the 'burbs. Service was pretty good and the ambiance is a laid back, family owned spot. If you're looking for vietnamese food definitely check Viet House out.

I have a special place in my heart for pho. This is one of the dishes that my grandmother and I used to grab before putzing around Chinatown or after shopping at Ala Moana. Fast forward a couple of decades and thousands of miles into the mainland without Popo and you've got a girl always down for some good Vietnamese food. Up until Viet House, my husband was not as down for Vietnamese food as myself. He didn't like some of the other places in the area but Yelpers, who seriously know what they're talking about, gave this place some good reviews so I convinced him to try it, just once. Now we're regulars! What's good: Pho. Obviously. I've tried the seafood, chicken, and pho special and the special is the best! The broth is flavorful and the special seems the most generous with the meats. Be careful with the jalapeno peppers - a little goes a long way! But this place has so much more! I am addicted to the seafood egg noodle soup. Their shaken steak is DOPE. The marinade that they use for that steak is amazing. Think teriyaki-ish only lighter and sweeter. The steak is served on a bed of lettuce and tomato and you can get it as an app to share or get it by itself for dinner (the dinner comes with rice). When I'm feeling super greedy I get the shaken steak for dinner along with a kid's meatball pho. Appetizers are a must. Get the roll combo which has both fried taro and non fried shrimp and pork with peanut sauce. Their wings are my favorite wings of all time, all meat with no breading and served with what my husband refers to as Vietnamese pico de gallo. You get free tea which is always nice. This place is generally always packed (at least in the evenings and on the weekends which is when I go) but the most that I have ever waited was 10 minutes. I agree with other reviews about the fabulous customer service! Grace reminds me of the aunts that I grew up with in Hawaii, genuinely nice, bubbly and happy, always stopping by to talk a little. What brings it home for me is the value that you get for your money. I have no problem with their prices and feel that they're appropriate for what you get. All in, this place is a gem and we'll be here often. I hope that you will too!

This place is a 10/10 in my books!! No words can describe how much I LOVE this place. I can't believe I haven't written a review yet for Viet House. I come AT LEAST twice a week (sometimes even four times). First of all, the place is very clean and cozy. Secondly, the staff is soo friendly! They make me feel very welcome and they treat each customer like they've known them forever! Last but not least, the food.. WOW! I go to school in Saint Louis during the year, and I always dream about their pho. Oh my goodness, the pho!! Such a pure, flavorful broth. Order it extra hot so it comes out steaming!! And their Banh Mi.. WOW!!!! I am actually addicted to their Banh Mi. I could eat that every day for the rest of my life probably. The flame grilled lemongrass beef is the best I have ever had. And their Dry Noodles are unlike anything I've tasted! A blend of sweet, spicy, and savory- mix it with their house made spicy sate sauce and a little pho broth and you'll be hooked. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu, and have never been disappointed. Seriously, this Vietnamese place beats out all others in the suburbs! Will be very sad when I go back to school and won't be able to come weekly :(

PLUS: Everything we've ordered has been yummy MINUS: No AC so can get quite hot in the summer. Some waiting at peak times. Service is a bit below average: had to ask a waitress to take our order; water never refilled. This is the best Vietnamese I've had in the NW suburbs. All of the following was tasty and above average: spring rolls (both chicken and pork/shrimp), taro/pork eggrolls, pork sausage with noodles, pork lettuce wrap, and pho. The slices of beef in the pho were quite thick, but still tender and flavorful. The fresh sprouts and basil leaves were fresh and crisp. It could have had more broth relative to how much noodles were present. There was a mild aftertaste of MSG after eating the pho.

My coworker introduced me to this place. Haven't actually been there yet since we ordered pick up, but the pho is on par... Huge portions!!! The house special is amazing...and the iced coffee is delicious!

Wow, I just got back from this place. I want to try everything on the menu! The regular size is ridiculous. I cant imaging eating the large. Very nice people working the floor. I did the brisket pho and loved it. So good. If you havent been here, try it!

A nifty and delicious place. It's not terribly large inside, but they make it seem larger than life inside. I really like that a pot of hot green tea is included at every table. Their pho is great! I had a dish of hot broth with glass and egg noodles with beef, shrimp and pork. I'll definitely be headed back!

Amazing! Great food and great hospitality. We have been here several times and have been pleased every time. The only niggle is that, while pho is my favorite Vietnamese dish, I cannot say this place serves the "best" pho I've ever had; the broth is just less spiced/savory somehow. Plus they were super busy today and forgot to bring the basil. ;) Otherwise the pho is still excellent, as is everything else we have tried on the menu. Definitely stop in here if you live nearby.

I have eaten at your many Vietnamese places in Chicago and this is the best place to eat pho! I don't know if it's better hen my moms but close enough!

I've been here a few times, I've mostly just ordered out.. not gonna lie. But I love the decor and customer service. Very cozy, not large but comfortable. Perfect for a lo key week date with someone special who enjoys Vietnamese food. My favorite of course are the wings, perfect mix of Asian and American flavors just just enough spice to keep your palette on the edge if it's sit. Awesome appetizers too!
